This follows their story after the birth of their child, with their child narrating the tale.
The art work is sketchy and it works for this kind of story, the detail in Markos horns is a good example of this.
Given that this is a popular series, like Rat Queens, it is done really well, the story is more complex and yet it’s not overwhelming you. The information that the writer and artist are giving you isn’t too much, it sets the pace for this first volume, giving the characters there place and yet while reading you know more characters will be added to flesh out this comic series even more.
If you like romance with action, a sprinkle of humour, plus added fantasy and magic kicked in, this could well be a comic to look into.
